        Pastors Joe and Shawn Brock founded CUTTING EDGE MINISTRIES CHURCH {C.E.M.C.} in August 1993.  C.E.M.C. is prophetic in it’s’ personality and strongly emphasizes a vibrant relationship with Father and amongst the Body. Spiritual Protocol and God-ordained order in the believer’s life and corporately in the Body of Christ, as well as the manifestation of the Son and His Kingdom in the earth as it is in heaven are also foundational elements.  Pastor Joe has been in ministry for over two decades and truly has a shepherd’s heart.  He is well respected among his peers and Father has placed a special prophetic anointing on his life and he stands in the office of a Prophet.  Shawn Brock has over two decades in Ministry and Father has graced her with a seasoned Word of Truth.  She oversees AOHF’S Children’s/Youth Church and Father has birthed a body-wide women’s ministry, S.I.S.T.E.R.S. which is an acronym for Sisters Intimately Sharing Through Everyday Relationships and Spiritually for the purposes of relationships, wholeness and maturity.        

            This parent ministry (C.E.M.C.) serves as the umbrella for several vision components including  ALPHA-OMEGA HARVEST FELLOWSHIP (AOHF), a local church body.  AOHF believes the scriptures are God-inspired and God-breathed words of life to the believer.  They emphasize a loving, intimate relationship with Father as the most important foundation for victorious Christian living.  AOHF also believes strongly in God’s call to be a viable entity in our community, reaching out with efforts of evangelism, restoration and reconciliation.  Our desire is to have a tangible presence of God in the neighborhood that can touch the lives of it’s residents and beyond.  AOHF possesses a strong prophetic anointing and Father has adorned His servants with powerful vision and insight of the Spirit.  AOHF believes in VICTORY FOR THE  TOTAL MAN {SPIRIT, SOUL & BODY}.

            C.E.M.C. also serves as a “bridge” to local ministries with THE PROPHETIC HARVEST INSTITUTE  which provides 1}  Prophetic (Experiential} Harvest Seminars targeted at Leaders and Elderships to fortify the corporate working of the local ministry.  2}  The Schools of the Prophets  which educates individuals and ministries pertaining to prophetic flows and also mentors prophetic gifting as well as emphasize protocol and integrity. 3}  Encounters and Conferences for refreshing.

            THE SPIRITUAL LIFE CHRISTIAN COUNSELING CENTER is a refuge for leaders, individuals and families in need of sound, viable Biblical counsel pertaining to life issues and is overseen by Pastor Shawn who is a licensed counselor.

            “REACHING THE HARVEST” TAPE MINISTRY is the teaching ministry of Pastors Brock with the goal of careful sowing in expectation of a bountiful harvest in the hearer’s lives.

            Pastors Brock sit under the Pastoral Covering of Bishop Darryl and Beverly Jackson, founders of THE CHURCH OF THE FIRSTBORN MINISTRIES, INC.  - Birmingham and Tuscaloosa, AL.  Pastors Brock are also the Prophetic Covering for the Church of The Firstborn Ministries, Inc.  Additionally, Joe and Shawn have received ordination under Advocate Ministries, where Pastor Joe serves as a Prophet and also sits as the President of the Presbytery Board of Ministers.

            Joe and Shawn married in 1987 and have three blessed children, their bright son, Joseph Elias who is 12, a sweet daughter, Joe’l Bethany who is age 6 and Josiah Elisha who graced us with his arrival on Mother’s Day’04.

 

               PASTOR JOE BROCK :  BIOGRAPHY

       Joe Brock has over two decades in Ministry and Father has graced him with a true shepherd’s heart.  Joe co-founded Cutting Edge Ministries Church, Inc. in August ‘93 which has several body-wide outreach components. He is well respected among  his peers and Father has placed a strong desire and aptness towards ministry to leaders and their local church leaderships, as well as an ongoing School of the Prophets in B’ham.  Joe and his wife, Shawn especially teach and believe in God’s biblical order and ordained protocol for the operation of the body of Christ. They particularly enjoy ministering in this area and strengthening local bodies as a result.
